Welcome to the Child Care Planning Council of Ventura County!

The Child Care Planning Council (CCPC) of Ventura County actively plans for quality child care based upon the needs of children, families and early care and education professionals.

The CCPC is located at the Ventura County Office of Education in Camarillo, California. Local Planning Councils (such as the CCPC) are funded by the California Department of Education, Child Development Division and are found in every county in the state.

The Ventura County CCPC has 25 members who are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors and the County Office of Education. Members represent consumers of child care services, child care providers, community and public agencies and discretionary representatives. The Council meets the second Tuesday of each month from 9-11 a.m. at the Ventura County Office of Education Conference and Educational Services Center located at 5100 Adolfo Road, in Camarillo.
